- The release of iOS 16 will start on Thursday, September 8th. This can be inferred from the previous release of iOS 15, which became available the day after Apple’s September event. Although, in the past, there have been long delays between the announcement and release.
- Preorders for the iPhone 14 and new Apple Watch begin on Friday, September 9th, and the products will be available for purchase on Friday, September 16th.

Apple is continuing its trend of removing pack-in accessories by not including a charger with iPhones anymore. Instead, Apple will be happy to sell users a new charger separately.
